Interpretation...

I drew this thing over two years ago... I call it my interpretation of a human. Mayank asked me to explain what it was, I said I'd explain later... So I guess, Later is late enough now!

Well then to begin with, the black is the pedestal of pride that we stand on.
The Blue is our goodness; The red, it's evil counterpart.
The Green our envy of others. Yellow the passion towards them.
The Halo overhead represents the holiness that dwells within each of us.
While the central purple is what makes us human after all - Emotions...

'coz I'm a Gypsy...

I watched Shakira's performance on American Idol 9 with Rascal Flatts and now I'm hooked to the song!

Gypsy is stuck in my head and to an extent I relate to it...

Life hasn't really been a joy ride over the past few months (or years if i may)

Gypsy gives me that intangible push to get up when I fall...

Thanks Shakira for another beautiful number I can listen to on repeat for 7 days!

Summer Clearance...

So, like every summer, I did some clearing of cluttered spaces this last week while my PC wasn't working.
I found quite some stuff I had growing up. Like this tiny yellow and green Dolphin thingy. The thing about this toy is that I never really knew how it's supposed 2 be played with (Fact : I still haven't figured it out). It just moves back and forth... That's all it does. But another thing about it is that I love it too much... So much that I refused to give it away to a cousin who liked it with a flat NO.

That thing has been with me since I was about 2 years old. How do I give it away just like that? Though I don't play with it anymore,
(Fact : I sometimes do.)
I still Love it! A lot!!!

Straight Line Theory

Back when I was barely learning to hold a pencil, I once happened to draw a perfectly straight line.
Seeing the feat I had just accomplished my mom exclaimed, " My daughters gonna do something great once she grows up!"

I don't know about the greatness part of it as yet.

What I do know is that I haven't been able to draw a perfect straight line ever since... Not even with a scale...

Aah... The irony called Life... ;)

Divine Serenity captured...

So, this summer started off with a short trip to Goa. While I was there we made a quick visit to the Bhagwan Mahaveer Bal Udyaan Which is a park by the Miramar Beach.
I clicked this pic there and it's by and far my most favorite picture I clicked ever...
That's the reason I called it Divine Serenity Captured...

"Move On!"

Like all teenagers, I too get influenced...
I thought of myself as calm and resolved and my parents as complicated and my friends to be the epitome of goodness...

The sound of shattering opinions is much louder than that of shattering glass. Now i know why they say IGNORANCE IS BLISS.

I too like many others my age, was "infatuated", then got termed a "stalker", fell in "love", Then had a "heart-ache", then a "heart-break", then a "break-up", thought it was the "end-of-life"...

And then I heard Fastrack* say "Move On!"
 and in these 2 words lies all the truth of life... You just cannot and should not hold on if it's not worth it!!!

It's almost the beginning of a new academic year and it's time for me to move on leaving the mistakes, misunderstandings and failures of the year in the past...

I'm hoping this will be a different year...
